Last night and this morning were really, really cold.  We live down in the bottom of a draw next to a crick and it seems we are always 10 degrees hotter or 10 degrees colder.  That would make it -46 and that’s cold!  But by noon the sun was shining and we had a lovely day.

I spent a short time today at my little Featherweight sewing on clues for Bonnie Hunter’s On Ringo Lake Mystery.  Gotta love sewing small flying geese!  I decided in the beginning to save the small triangles cut from behind the geese and have just spent some time trimming them to size and adding to my itty bitty scrap jar.  They take longer than the geese blocks!

Last week I received several goody’s in the mail, I can’t wait to share and begin.  Ahhh…new projects, the excitement, ideas and plans are making it hard to fall asleep at night.  My word for 2018 is “create”.  I have to add, I am much better at starting than I am finishing!

Since this is my first post, I am hoping this blog will hold me accountable to projects and keep the excitement of a finish in sight.

I am truly blessed to be able to do all the things I love and share it here!  Tomorrow more about myself and happy Stitching!
